About Us

In 2015, parents, students, and community leaders started this committee because they were dedicated to bringing pools to the San Dieguito Union High School District. SDUHSD is a coastal school district that has 10 schools (5 high schools and 5 middle schools) and serves approximately 13,000 students in North County San Diego. Unfortunately, there are no district pools to support our aquatic sports teams or to teach aquatic PE. Aquatic PE teaches the life-saving skill of swimming, is one of 8 required PE subject areas under the CA Education Code, and is included in CA’s Model PE Standards and CA’s PE Framework for CA Public Schools

Join your neighbors in this effort to Build Pools in the San Dieguito Union High School District. Visit our Contact page to learn how you can get involved!
