The San Dieguito Pool Committee is here to partner with the SDUHSD Board - and we need your help!

Join us as we move forward in the next steps to build the Torrey Pines pool and provide access to aquatics to all SDUHSD students. We need help from the community in fundraising, marketing and many other projects. Contact us today!

Welcome to the official site of the

San Dieguito Pool Feasibility Committee!  

 

In 2015, parents, students, community leaders and professionals started this committee because they were dedicated to exploring the feasibility of bringing pools to the San Dieguito Union High School District (SDUHSD). SDUHSD is a coastal school district that has 10 schools (5 middle schools and 5 high schools) and serves approximately 13,000 students. Unfortunately, there are no district pools to support our aquatic programs or to teach aquatic PE even though aquatic PE is one of the 8 required PE subject areas under the CA Education Code, and is included in CA's Model PE Standards, and CA's PE Framework for CA Public Schools.
