San Dieguito is falling behind other districts in its commitment to Aquatics.
The San Dieguito Union High School District offers a lot of wonderful opportunities, but it lacks facilities for aquatics for all of its students, and has fallen behind other districts in recognizing the importance of water safety and aquatics as a lifeskill. Other districts continue to recognize the importance of aquatic instruction and have committed to making sure its students have access to lifesaving water skills as part of their PE instruction, and that its student athletes have supported opportunities in dive, swimming and water polo to achieve athletic success and access to postsecondary scholarship opportunities.
